After contacting me, your new landscape design begins
with an initial personal consultation. We cover a significant number
of questions—among them, how you will use your landscape,
practical issues, your favorite plants or colors, and your sense of
personal style.
I take detailed measurements of your site and prepare a plan. Many of my clients prefer a finished master plan; others prefer to have me work with them on portions of their space over a number of years to accommodate the changing needs of budget and family. Presenting the plan is more than a drawing. Your final design includes a comprehensive review of each plant; a book filled with visuals of the ideas I’ve designed; and earth friendly care information for trees, shrubs, flowers and lawn to keep your landscape looking its best after installation. Working with a select team of landscape professionals, your landscape can be installed from beginning to a finished space, with as little help as plants delivered on a date you specify or a complete renovation. I supervise every installation, and am on site most days to resolve any issues which may arise and ensure your landscape is beautiful the day of completion. © 2006 Copyrighted by Dorothy Pedersen.
